A New Beginning

A new beginning is part of the entire Life/Death Cycle.. Without new beginnings and changes in our life, we grow stagnant and then we slowly begin to hit the bottom of the Circle of Life.

It is my intention to begin the new direction on Deadmen DO Tell Tales as a thorough and hopefully, enjoyable, romp through the Weirdness, Strangeness and the things that make us say, WTF? A fine idea and an occasional thought provoking or cunningly crafted Tall Tale may slip into the mix… Books that cry out for attention, the strange boundaries of Science, Religion and Gnostic belief that seem to be entering our daily lives more and more since the

birth of such shows as Ripley’s Believe It, Or Not; Unsolved Mysteries; In Search Of; History’s Mysteries; and such. Are we ever more close to seeing Religion, Science and New Age beliefs seemingly sliding closer as we find that the ancients knew more science than we can account for? That the Vatican and certain other forward thinking Religions are finding there are scientific basis behind many of the miracles and teachings of the ancient prophets and philosophers? That other more older religions and practices have found answers that we are only finding today with our high-tech gadgets and seemingly impossible knowledge for the said ancients to have. Case on point, the Dogon Tribe of the Kalahari were a tribe untouched by civilized men until the 20th Century. Yet when they were studied by missionaries and anthropologists they had a firm belief in Visiting strangers from Space, From the Sirius system… They described that the then thought Binary Star System was actually a trinary system. That a previously unrecorded star by all of the Astronomers of the time and before did not find this star as it was a small star with a strong gravity well that was a very slow pulsar.. Many laughed at the Anthropologists firm belief that these stone age people must have some knowledge as even the Binary Sirius theory had only arisen several years before. imagine, for a moment the incredible hoopla surrounding these claims when the scientists were actually able to FIND SIRIUS C! It had ALL the properties given to it by the Dogon tribe and Science was dumbfounded how to explain how a tribe of humans still using stone napping and animal bone to make their own tools.

So let us do some mental gymnastics.. The tribe did not learn from other “civilized man” about this phenomena. How could they? They talked of this in the 1920s and man was still 30 years from having Observatories with powerful enough telescopes to see the trinary system. How did they know the physics behind the trinary system never having any education in the sciences at all? How could they have gained this knowledge through any OTHER MEANS then what they claimed. An Explanation from a Visiting Extraterrestrial spanning centuries back where he/it described the Solar System he was from in such detail, it had become a part of the tribal knowledge both verbal and symbolic in their Tribal Elders staves where the story was written in a crude circle slash pattern and these sticks were always kept even after the death of an elder so a thousand sticks told the same story. Answers that astound us but seem the most plausible when faced with the rules of logic and anthropology are the most widely accepted now: Somehow, someone from somewhere beyond Man’s limited understanding taught this in oral tradition to the ancient tribesmen and whether you believe the Ancient Astronaut theory or not, you must agree the knowledge would be hard pressed to gain from any man of the 3rd Century CE and Yes, we are fairly certain of the time period they learned it as their “Talking Sticks” record celestial phenomena that have been identified with other sightings across the world. The Dogon Tribe also have the most accurate time-telling ability taught them by the same mysterious visitor which showed the exact number of years since the stranger landed among them… 1700 yrs where the dates are more perfect than Roman, Byzantine, and Chinese Empires that ruled those early days coming on the Dark Ages.

Maybe that certain mysterious stranger was a practical joker but the Odds still favor the facts that something was taught to the neolithic tribe by someone with a highly developed mind to see future discoveries even if he was not from Sirius… I guess he could have lied and actually been from Polaris…
